Bandai Super Imaginative Chogokin S.I.C Vol.61 Super 1 Review

Hello everyone! Welcome to our latest S.I.C review! Today, we are going to review Bandai Super Imaginative Chogokin S.I.C Vol.61 Super 1!

Super 1 is one of the showa riders, and the second last one to be released. I am very excited about this release because the figure gives me a very S.I.C "feel", something that I found to be absent in the previous few S.I.C releases.

Super 1 comes with 2 sets of fists, one of which is open fists while the other is what I call the "2 finger" pose fists. I love these fists as it allows me to recreate some classic kamen rider poses like the one show below.

The scarf piece is also quite special as it comes with an additional pivot joint that allows you to move and shift it such that you can let it rest or let it "fly" as if the wind is blowing at it.
Joints wise, Super 1 has tight joints and this allows you to pose him in various poses without having the frustration of him giving way due to the weight of his body or the nature of the pose.

However, the best features of Super 1 is that he comes with 4 additional sets of arms that you can interchange with ease and display based on your favorite Super 1 attack.

First, we have the power arms, nicely painted in a shade of metallic red and with nice details. The size of the arms gives a strong powerhouse feel to the figure. The fingers can also open and close so that gives you more posing possibilities.
Next up is the electric arms. The finger tips are well detailed, having electric pin-like designs.
The heat and freeze arms is an interesting combination. I have never watched the drama but I would believe that Super 1 freezes the monster with his left arm first before melting them down with his right arm. And no details are spared as both arms are individually designed, so it's not just different paint applications for both arms.
And finally we come to the missle arms. The nice gimmick about this set of arms is that you can remove the missles from the arms. It would have been cool if you can shoot the missles off the arms but S.I.C being an adult collectible figure, is not meant to have play gimmicks as such.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this figure and I love it. Super 1 has so much more to offer compared to the previous Sky Rider release and I would highly recommend S.I.C lovers, especially showa rider lovers to get him.

Bandai Super Imaginative Chogokin SIC Vol 60 Skyrider Review

Hi everyone, today I am going to give a review on SIC Vol.60 Sky Rider! Sky Rider is one of the Showa riders, meaning it is one of the early riders before Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. As we all know, Riders from this era are relatively simple and not as elaborate or flashy as the new generation of riders. However, I am quite impressed that the SIC version of Sky Rider does give it a modern touch despite its simplistic design.

SIC Vol 60 Sky Rider Review

Hi everyone, today I am going to give a review on SIC Vol.60 Sky Rider! Sky Rider is one of the Showa riders, meaning it is one of the early riders before Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. As we all know, Riders from this era are relatively simple and not as elaborate or flashy as the new generation of riders. However, I am quite impressed that the SIC version of Sky Rider does give it a modern touch despite its simplistic design.

The accessories for Sky Rider are quite simple. 2 sets of interchangeable hands, a scarf and a display stand. Yes, that's it! While I do feel somewhat shortchanged, it is a fact that Sky Rider has no weapons so there is so much that Bandai can include in this set. However, I must say that articulation is pretty good for Sky Rider, as he can do extreme and kneeling poses quite well.

And there is also the trademark henshin (transform) pose that you can re-create with Sky Ride.

There is a simple gimmick on Sky Rider's belt, in that you can push the switches on the sides down and up, just like the way Sky Rider does to activate his flying abilities.
The stand that comes with Sky Rider can be used to display Sky Rider in his flying pose. The stand can also be used to display other SIC figures in different poses.
The pose I love most is the rider kick pose. Look at how awesome Sky Rider with is rider kick!
On the overall, Sky Rider is a decent figure. I like the way he is sculpt and that Bandai provides us a display stand to compensate for the lack of accessories. If you are a Showa rider fan, Sky Rider is definitely one that you must get to complete the Showa SIC rider collection.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W figures have been a huge hit for collectors and fans of the series. To make sure fans of certain combinations of the character aren't left in the dark, Bandai released the Kamen Rider W Cyclone 2 pack. This set includes the Cyclone/Metal and Cyclone/Trigger figures.

When you take out of the figures and compare them to other toys lines out there, you'll discover the S.H. Figuarts line is one of the best action figure lines you'll ever lay your eyes upon. First and foremost, no amount of detail is overlooked in these 6 inch figures. The sculpting quality is amazing, from the complex action figure suit design to the gadgets and weaponry, it's a sight to behold when you look at how artistically show-accurate these figures are. Bandai uses high quality plastic throughout the body in combination with diecast feet, giving these figures quality material and weight. There's great satisfaction in the metallic paint job that is applied to these figures. As an action figure collector who's been collecting for years, these figures certainly draw the most attention on my shelf.

This particular set of figures include the Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Trigger and Cyclone/Metal figures. Both are crafted to perfection and each have unique paint schemes and detail markings. Both figures have the same articulation points: ball jointed head, neck, arms, legs, hands, torso, waist and feet. The use of double jointed elbows and knees is also a very nice touch that gives these figures nice bending range. With this kind of articulation, any pose is possible.

Accessories are a sight to behold and are easily interchangeable. Each are highly detail as the body sculpts and are to scale with the figures. First off, you get extra types of hands: 4 cyclone hands, 2 trigger hands, and 2 metal hands. Weapons include the Trigger Magnum and and 2 versions of the Metal Staff. You receive 3 different types of scarves for the Cyclone half of the figures: 2 relaxed and a super-extended. Unlike other Kamen Rider W figures before, this particular 2 pack includes the Memory Gadgets: Stag Phone, Bat Shot, and Spider Shock. Each of these Memory Gadgets can combine with the Trigger Magnum.

This set of figures is a must have if you really want to complete your collection of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W figures. Visit Bandai S.H. Figuarts Masked Rider W Cyclone Trigger & Cyclone Metaltoday and them to your collection.
