Bandai Super Imaginative Chogokin SIC Vol 60 Skyrider Review

Hi everyone, today I am going to give a review on SIC Vol.60 Sky Rider! Sky Rider is one of the Showa riders, meaning it is one of the early riders before Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. As we all know, Riders from this era are relatively simple and not as elaborate or flashy as the new generation of riders. However, I am quite impressed that the SIC version of Sky Rider does give it a modern touch despite its simplistic design.

SIC Vol 60 Sky Rider Review

Hi everyone, today I am going to give a review on SIC Vol.60 Sky Rider! Sky Rider is one of the Showa riders, meaning it is one of the early riders before Kamen Rider Black and Black RX. As we all know, Riders from this era are relatively simple and not as elaborate or flashy as the new generation of riders. However, I am quite impressed that the SIC version of Sky Rider does give it a modern touch despite its simplistic design.

The accessories for Sky Rider are quite simple. 2 sets of interchangeable hands, a scarf and a display stand. Yes, that's it! While I do feel somewhat shortchanged, it is a fact that Sky Rider has no weapons so there is so much that Bandai can include in this set. However, I must say that articulation is pretty good for Sky Rider, as he can do extreme and kneeling poses quite well.

And there is also the trademark henshin (transform) pose that you can re-create with Sky Ride.

There is a simple gimmick on Sky Rider's belt, in that you can push the switches on the sides down and up, just like the way Sky Rider does to activate his flying abilities.
The stand that comes with Sky Rider can be used to display Sky Rider in his flying pose. The stand can also be used to display other SIC figures in different poses.
The pose I love most is the rider kick pose. Look at how awesome Sky Rider with is rider kick!
On the overall, Sky Rider is a decent figure. I like the way he is sculpt and that Bandai provides us a display stand to compensate for the lack of accessories. If you are a Showa rider fan, Sky Rider is definitely one that you must get to complete the Showa SIC rider collection.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W figures have been a huge hit for collectors and fans of the series. To make sure fans of certain combinations of the character aren't left in the dark, Bandai released the Kamen Rider W Cyclone 2 pack. This set includes the Cyclone/Metal and Cyclone/Trigger figures.

When you take out of the figures and compare them to other toys lines out there, you'll discover the S.H. Figuarts line is one of the best action figure lines you'll ever lay your eyes upon. First and foremost, no amount of detail is overlooked in these 6 inch figures. The sculpting quality is amazing, from the complex action figure suit design to the gadgets and weaponry, it's a sight to behold when you look at how artistically show-accurate these figures are. Bandai uses high quality plastic throughout the body in combination with diecast feet, giving these figures quality material and weight. There's great satisfaction in the metallic paint job that is applied to these figures. As an action figure collector who's been collecting for years, these figures certainly draw the most attention on my shelf.

This particular set of figures include the Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Trigger and Cyclone/Metal figures. Both are crafted to perfection and each have unique paint schemes and detail markings. Both figures have the same articulation points: ball jointed head, neck, arms, legs, hands, torso, waist and feet. The use of double jointed elbows and knees is also a very nice touch that gives these figures nice bending range. With this kind of articulation, any pose is possible.

Accessories are a sight to behold and are easily interchangeable. Each are highly detail as the body sculpts and are to scale with the figures. First off, you get extra types of hands: 4 cyclone hands, 2 trigger hands, and 2 metal hands. Weapons include the Trigger Magnum and and 2 versions of the Metal Staff. You receive 3 different types of scarves for the Cyclone half of the figures: 2 relaxed and a super-extended. Unlike other Kamen Rider W figures before, this particular 2 pack includes the Memory Gadgets: Stag Phone, Bat Shot, and Spider Shock. Each of these Memory Gadgets can combine with the Trigger Magnum.

This set of figures is a must have if you really want to complete your collection of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W figures. Visit Bandai S.H. Figuarts Masked Rider W Cyclone Trigger & Cyclone Metaltoday and them to your collection.

Bandai S.H. Figuarts TKamen Rider 000 ajadol Combo

Tajadol Combo

Tajadol Combo
Kamen Rider OOO's S.H. Figuarts line has been widely impressive with the many variations of the character that have been released so far. The latest form is the Tajadol combo. Refered to as the "Blazing Combo" for its overall red and black appearance as well as its bird-like design, this figure is striking too look at once you pop it out of the box.

Design-wise, Bandai captures the live-action suit design so well for this 6" figure. Every aspect of the armor, helmet, belt, body and accessories are sculpted to perfection. The color palette for the figure is predominantly black with metallic red armor and accents of metal and gold. The image on the chest armor uses a different deeper red for the phoenix design and contrasts the brighter metallic red of the armor very well. And don't forget those awesome compound eyes S.H. Figuarts is known for, its definitely used on this figure and they look great. What I found different in the figure from different Kamen Riders before in the S.H. Figaurts line is the use of clear face plate over the front of the face. Its made of a translucent red plastic and doesn't blur out the design underneath the area it is covering. It's a very slick effect Bandai crafted into this figure.

Like the action figure, the accessories are just as detailed. Included are specifically sculpted Tajadol Combo accessories: the Taja-Spinner shield, 2 open hands, 2 weapon gripping hands, and 2 Taja-Spinner gripping hands. The Taja-Spinner is made of basic plastic with metallic paint combined with a clear translucent red plastic top that has a beautiful bird texture. Carry over accessories for this figure from the previously released Tatoba Combo figure that are also included are the O-Scanner and a Medajaribur sword.

Articulation includes double jointed elbows and knees for extreme bending. Ball jointed head, neck, torso, waist, arms, wrist, and feet are used to give this figure nice posing ability. I should also mention the use of good plastic material for the figure helps for clean posing and not too loose joints. Thanks to all these factors, this figure can strike any pose with style and ease.

I will admit, I wasn't too impressed with this design when I first saw it on the live-action TV show. Now that I have it in action figure form, this just may be my favorite Kamen Rider OOO's design, it's that awesome. Pick up yours today at www.ishop2go.com

It's accented with metallic colors on the armor which has a nice visual contrast to the eye.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts Masker Rider 1 from the Masked Rider The First Movie (2005)

In 2005 Toei Co. Ltd release a modernized movie remake of the classic Kamen Rider TV series from the early 1970's. Like any modern remake that meant updating the original suit design. The original suit design had baggy tights and a large helmet. The new design is more formfitting and uses more skin tight biker leather combined with areas of amor on the chest and shoulders. The helmet is small and sleaky. Overall this new design helps make Masker Rider 1 look much more athletic.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts line takes it to the next level by creating superb 5.5 inch action figure based on that design. The figure is sculpted to perfection. The line work, texturing, and colors are top notch quality. With 20+ points of articulation, this figure can do it all. You can put Masked Rider 1 in all his trademark battle stances as well as the famous Rider-Kick. The figure includes 3 additional hand sets (a total of 6 hands) and 2 types of collar scrafs (relaxed and action flow). Masked Rider fans, this is a must have.

Bandai S.H. Figuarts first 3 releases of Kamen Rider Double included Cyclone/Joker, Luna/Trigger, and Heat/Metal combination figures. Fans were treated to the news that Bandai later announced 3 new 2 packs so you collect all the combinations of Kamen Rider Double.

For this 2 pack you get the Heat/Joker and Heat/Trigger combination figures. Each figure is highly detailed to perfection than any other action figure line out there today. From the sleek look of the helmet to the W- Driver on his belt, you will be impressed with amount of detail found in these 5 inch tall action figures. Using a very nice metallic paint job to simulate an armor feel, these figures will shine on any collector's shelf.

With these articulation points you can pull some great rotations, tilts, bends and pull off some great trademark poses that are were in the live-action TV series.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider OOO Sagohzo combo figure

This Kamen Rider OOO: Sagohzo Combo Figure. This form uses the Gamel Core Medals: Sai, Gorilla, and Zou. The design is very simplistic and uses less clashing of color overall. It feels more unified with its almost B&W design. This form is used to out power his opponents with various attacks such as his shock wave chest pound, double arm rocket gauntlet attack, and his foot stomping tremor attack. His finishing scanning charge is the Sagohzo Impact. OOO jumps high into the air and performs a powerful stomp that traps his enemy into the ground. The enemy is also brought towards OOO like a vacum and when they are close enough, OOO's delivers a double arm and headbutt attack.

This figure stands 5.5 inches tall made up quality plastic. Paint application is cleanly applied and the detail is impressively true to real-life suit design. You get 20+ points of articulation for a wide amount of great posing. It's accessories include 3 additional hand sets: 1 set open hands and 2 types of gripping hands, that's 6 hands total. Accessories include the O-scanner is included which can be attached to his belt. For additional play, this figure includes the Medajabular sword for slicing and dicing.
